Although Bar Series has been around for some years now, I’ve never had the chance to try them out for myself— until now.

Bar Series vape juice has been a bestseller since its initial release, as their focus on delivering a disposable vape-like experience in a reusable vape kit became an instant hit among vape fans trying to make the switch to something more sustainable— and their nic salts seem to be a fan favourite.

Nic salt eliquid is designed to provide a more intense nicotine hit than regular e-liquid, serving up fast-acting and long-lasting satisfaction that ex-smokers and those trying to quit smoking crave. So, when I heard about Bar Series nic salts, I was desperate to give them a try.

Bar Series Nic Salts Features

Like most nic salts, this Bar Series e liquid range is designed to be paired with low-powered devices, such as a vape starter kit or pod kit. So, I decided to dust off my trusty Uwell Caliburn A2 to try them out, and it worked a charm. The balanced 50VG/50PG formula ensured I experienced a prominent throat hit that was satisfying yet smooth, which is exactly what I look for in high-quality nic salts.

The vapour production was delightfully minimal, precisely what I want from a nic salt formula.

Bar Series salts are available in two different nicotine strengths; 10mg and 20mg. I tried out the 20mg variety and it provided the same relief I experience with a disposable vape; fast, potent and powerful.

Although I’m yet to try it, I’m glad to see that they offer a 10mg option for those who require less nicotine or want to reduce their nicotine intake over time. In terms of overall performance, I truly can’t fault this vape juice.

And I’m pleased to report that these nic salts are among the most flavourful I’ve ever tried. Every flavour profile I tried was extremely potent, and I loved it! I’ve tested plenty of different nic salt brands over the years, with many serving up lacklustre flavours that don’t make much of an impact, but Bar Series is seriously on another level. So, if you’re the kind of vape fan that prefers more delicate and nuanced blends, Bar Series eliquid probably isn’t the right choice for you. As Bar Series has been on the scene for quite a while, it won’t be surprising to learn that their nic salt range is far from their only collection. While it’s certainly their most popular product among beginners, they’ve made a vape juice variety specifically catered to their more experience fan base— Bar Series shortfills.

Bar Series shortfill eliquid, unlike their nic salts, are designed for more advanced users. They feature a 70VG/30PG composition that works best when paired with sub-ohm vape kits and tanks. This high VG formula also helps to generate large vapour clouds, making it more suitable for experienced users and cloud chasers. Unlike their nic salts, which contain nicotine, Bar Series shortfills are entirely nicotine free. These 100ml bottles of vape juice can be paired with a nic shot to create a nicotine-based e-liquid.

Bar Series shortfills are available in 10 different flavour blends, many of which can also be found in their nic salt collection.

Bar Series Nic Salts Market Comparison

To grasp how well the Bar Series nic salt range is holding its ground in the current e-liquid market, it can help to compare it with other players in the industry. When we talk about popular nic salts, Elfliq by Elf Bar is a brand that instantly comes to mind.

With 18 different popular Elf Bar flavours to choose from, this new line of nic salts was an instant hit, particularly among fans of the brand’s disposable vapes. While I think Elfliq is a great choice for die-hard Elf Bar fans looking for a more sustainable alternative, the flavour certainly isn’t as potent as Bar Series. Elfliq nic salts, in my opinion, are more on the milder side, but this isn’t always a bad thing, especially for those who prefer a more muted flavour. As we’re talking about flavour quality, it’s worth mentioning Cigara Salt Bar here. These are our in-house nic salts created by the mixologists here in myCigara, and much like Bar Series, they’re inspired by popular disposable vape flavours. After trying out Cigara Salt Bar and Bar Series side by side, they’re surprisingly similar in terms of potency, both providing an intense flavour hit that totally outshines Elfliq. Bar Series Nic Salts Verdict

After trying out Bar Series salts for myself, my only regret is not having tried them sooner. They performed brilliantly with my Caliburn A2, and I can imagine they’d provide a similar experience in just about any refillable pod kit.

The 50VG/50PG ratio, coupled with the 20mg nicotine strength I chose, mirrors the formula found in most disposables. I was pleasantly surprised by how closely it captured the authentic experience, both in sensation and flavour. The minimal vapor production was exactly as I expected, delivering clouds on par with disposable vapes.

But the real highlight for me when talking about Bar Series nic salts is without a doubt the flavour. Every blend I tested was truly phenomenal in terms of potency, making them some of the most flavourful nic salts I’ve ever tried. It’s safe to say that I now understand why these eliquids are so popular!

With 28 different blends to choose from, there really is a blend for everyone. Many e-liquid ranges, particularly those inspired by disposable vapes, tend to lack a selection of classic blends, but not Bar Series! Even those who prefer stripped-back mint and tobacco flavours have plenty to choose from in this collection.

On the whole, I’m thoroughly impressed. If you’re currently a disposable vape user and considering making the sustainable switch to a refillable vape kit but are worried about lacklustre flavour, you needn’t be with Bar Series. The flavour quality and potency is second to none, making it a new favourite of mine that I can’t wait to try again!
