SKY Crystal Pro is the hot new disposable on the UK vape scene, and now that I've tried it out for myself, I'm curious to learn more about how it stacks up against some of the top names in the game. Upon first glance, this compact Crystal vape appears to meet all the requirements that vape enthusiasts look for in a high-quality device; it comes pre-filled, ready to use, and boasts a sleek and unique design. But does it have what it takes to stand up against industry giants, Elf Bar?

Elf Bar Vape is arguably the most well-known disposable vape brand on the planet, and it all started with their flagship device, the Elf Bar 600. Still incredibly popular to this day, the Elf Bar 600 was among the first devices to bring us the sleek pen-style disposables we’re all familiar with. So, which is better; SKY Crystal Pro or Elf Bar 600? Well, that’s what I’m here to find out.

Both of these devices share many of the essential hallmarks of disposable vapes, all of which focus on convenience and ease of use. Both the Crystal Pro and the Elf Bar arrive in a ready-to-use state, with a full pod of e-liquid and a pre-charged battery. This means that I didn’t have to fiddle around trying to figure out the setup or play around with complicated settings, making it a totally fuss-free experience from the get-go.

The 2ml e-liquid capacity of both the Elf Bar and the Crystal Pro is very common for disposable vapes, as it's the maximum volume of nicotine salts that can be sold in the UK. This high concentration makes both devices perfect starter kits for those who want to quit smoking.

When it comes down to the key features, the only difference between the two is the battery size. The Crystal Pro is powered by a 500mAh battery, whereas the Elf Bar houses a slightly larger 550mAh battery. This disposable is essentially a beefed-up version of the Crystal Pro, featuring a 1500mAh battery and can provide up to 4000 puffs. However, this device is considerably larger than the Crystal Pro, and probably isn’t suitable for those looking for an ultra-compact disposable.

Another honourable mention has to be the Vozol Star 600, as this disposable packs all the power and flavour of an Elf Bar, but comes with the added benefit of being made with recycled materials, something that isn’t very common in the world of vaping.

On the whole, the SKY Crystal Pro and the Elf Bar 600 offer a very similar vaping experience. As far as the internal workings are concerned, both devices will provide the user with up to 600 consistent puffs, and the flavour is consistent across the board. However, if you’re someone who likes to make sure you make the most of every drop of e-liquid, the slightly larger battery found in the Elf Bar 600 can guarantee this.

The real differences start to become clear when we take a look at the exterior. The pen-style shape and rubberised exterior of the Elf Bar is perfect for those who prioritise comfort and grip. But if you’re seeking out the most eye-catching and stylish vape device out there, you won’t find much better than the SKY Crystal Pro. Although it may not be the most ergonomic device and can feel slightly chunkier in your hand, as a fan of unique design myself, I consider it to be worth the compromise.
